Rooted in Bavaria, grown through responsibility

The story of Lehmann begins in 1851 in Regensburg — with architectural ornaments, weather vanes, and simple fittings. From the very first years, the focus was on supporting craftspeople and the construction industry with solid, dependable products. In the 1960s, the company relocated to Neutraubling. New production halls, an in-house galvanizing plant, and the foundations for further expansion took shape. Since then, Lehmann has continually developed the site to stay at the forefront of the industry.

Today, the group encompasses not only the headquarters in Neutraubling but also Lehmann Galvanizing in Berlin and Heller Snowstop in Vorarlberg. The same standard is upheld across all sites: the highest quality from in-house production, personal advice, and a close partnership with customers and trade partners. Production focuses on roofing products, drainage systems, and surface finishing. Each year, Lehmann processes around 10,000 tonnes of steel and 3,000 tonnes of non-ferrous metals such as copper and zinc. This yields over 3,000 product variants, each representing safety, lasting value, and durability.

The story begins in 1851 in Regensburg. From a modest metalworking business, a company has grown that today stands for quality and reliability across Europe.

As we always say at Lehmann…
"For us, the Mittelstand means staying reliable — while striving to improve every single day."

The culture of the Mittelstand

Lehmann is a company where down-to-earth values and progress go hand in hand. Many employees have been part of the team for decades; their knowledge shapes the quality of every single product. Modern plant and digital processes drive efficiency, but the decisive factor remains human commitment. This combination makes Lehmann a quintessential Mittelstand company: large enough for international markets, close enough for personal service.

The corporate culture is defined by reliability and a spirit of innovation. Progress always serves one goal: to offer craftspeople, planners, and builders better solutions. Quality here means not only precise manufacturing, but also responsibility towards employees, customers, and the region. Sales are handled exclusively through specialist wholesalers, supported by a dense dealer network that guarantees fast availability. For customers, this means products of transparent origin, honest pricing, and service at eye level.

At Lehmann, experience has taught that the Mittelstand means responsibility. Trust is built only through quality, reliability, and proximity. Since 1851 — and into the future.
