We only collect personal data if you voluntarily provide it to us when using the snow load calculator. Specifically, the following data is collected:

2.1 Planner Data

If you request a manufacturer recommendation, the following information is collected:

• Name or company name
• Street and house number
• Postcode and city
• Email address
• Phone number (optional)
• Information you voluntarily provide to us during the calculation.

2.2 Property Data

The following property-related data is collected for calculation and documentation:

• Property name
• Property address (street, postcode, city)
• Tile manufacturer or type
• Remarks (optional)

2.3 Calculation Data

Technical data processed during the snow load calculation include:

• Location data (address, coordinates, building elevation)
• Roof geometry (roof pitch, rafter length, eave length, half floor plan width)
• Snow load zone and calculated snow load values
• Selected snow protection systems and products

Your data will be processed for the following purposes:

• Performing the snow load calculation and creating a manufacturer's recommendation
• Creation and provision of a PDF document with your calculation
• Contact in connection with your inquiry

The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (contract/initiation).

For user convenience, your planner data (name, address, email, phone) is stored in your browser's local storage (localStorage). This means you don't have to re-enter this data when using it again. This data remains exclusively on your device and is not automatically transmitted to us. You can delete this data at any time by clearing your browser's local storage.

When using the snow load calculator, data is transmitted to the following third-party providers:

5.1 Google Maps API

For address search and altitude determination, we use the Google Maps API (Google Places and Google Elevation Service) from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The address you enter and the geographical coordinates derived from it are transmitted to Google. Google's privacy policy applies.

5.2 DLUBAL Snow Load Zone API

To determine the snow load zone according to DIN EN 1991-1-3, the geographical coordinates of the location are transmitted to the service of Dlubal Software GmbH, Am Zellweg 2, 93464 Tiefenbach, Germany. No personal data from you is transmitted in this process, only coordinates.

5.3 Austrian Snow Load Data (HORA)

For locations in Austria, the geographical coordinates are transmitted to the hora.gv.at service of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Regions and Water Management to determine the characteristic value of the snow load. No personal data is transmitted in this process.

When you request a manufacturer's recommendation, all data mentioned in Section 2 will be transmitted to the server of Otto Lehmann GmbH and stored there. The transmission is encrypted via HTTPS.

Your personal data will be stored for as long as necessary to fulfill the respective processing purpose. Data collected in connection with a manufacturer's recommendation will be deleted after the statutory retention periods expire.

The data stored in your browser's localStorage remains there until you manually delete it.
